“Leave the world behind and come to Comrie Croft”
The Idea……….
Next March we are organising a weekend away for anyone in the
congregation who would like to join in a weekend of fun, fellowship and
relaxation.
Open to families, couples, or singles, this is a chance to get away from
normal routine, relax and get to know folks a little better.
The
Place………..
Comrie Croft is a 4*
Hostel offering clean, simple, modern accommodation in a rustic setting
between Crieff and Comrie in rural Perthshire.
We would have exclusive use of “The Lodge” which sleeps up to 56 in a
combination of 2, 4 and 6 bed rooms, some with en-suite bathrooms.
There is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge and a dining
room with a view of the hills. In addition we would have use of a
conference room for activities.
Meals will all be organised and the cost is included in the price
quoted.
Other facilities include:
Playing field for ball games, etc.
Games room with free table tennis and pool
Play barn for basketball, football, badminton, volleyball, etc.
Free to borrow movie collection
Free to borrow books
Toy chest
The Nitty
Gritty!...........
The weekend will run from Friday evening, finishing after lunch on
Sunday.
The final cost will depend on the numbers, but will be no more than £80
for adults and £60 for under 18s.
This cost will include accommodation and all meals for the weekend.
Transport would be organised separately in cars, so anyone requiring
help with transport, please ask.
